Ayşe Secde Gençler is the founder of Kaptın Kaptın, a technology-driven local commerce platform in the food sector that enables real-time discounts and operational efficiency for food businesses while offering consumers transparent, accessible savings. As the technical founder, she leads a multidisciplinary team across product, engineering, operations, and growth. Kaptın Kaptın has received grants and technical support from Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google, and IBM, as well as support from WomenUP (European Union) and KOSGEB, and has been selected as a finalist in the Teknopark Ankara and Enerjisa SolutionShop programs. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University and was admitted to the MSc in Management program at the University of York (UK). Her background includes optimization and simulation projects in collaboration with ASELSAN, early-stage entrepreneurial experience during university, and business development roles in startup environments. In addition to her work at Kaptın Kaptın, she serves as the Turkey Representative and Developer Group Lead for FlutterFlow, coordinating the Ankara and Istanbul FlutterFlow Developer Groups and involved in the collaboration between FlutterFlow and Teknopark Ankara. She is currently based in Turkey, the UK, and the US, and focuses on building scalable, technology-driven business models at the intersection of operational efficiency, sustainability, and real-world problem solving.
